Yoga by the Sea is positive way to nurture yourself on your vacation. Classes are held in the beautiful third-floor yoga studio at the Hotel Alhambra, www.alhambra-hotel.net on Calle 8, in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, about 40 miles south of Cancun.
The Alhambra is located right in the heart of Playa and the yoga studio sports a gorgeous ocean view with fresh sea breezes thats a perfect backdrop for renewing your spirit and replenishing your vitality
You can choose from the schedule below of ongoing group classes or arrange for private classes at the studio, on the beach, or at your hotel.
The restaurant at the Alhambra Hotel serves delicious Mexican and vegetarian meals for a relaxing class meal right on the edge of the Caribbean Sea!
Hatha Yoga classes are multi-level, so regardless of if you're a beginner or regularly attend yoga classes, Arielle and Ellen can give you the personal attention that comes from their in-depth experience as professional movement specialists. They both have a keen eye for alignment and teach with a focus on building strength, balance and flexibility.
Yoga mats, blocks, blankets and straps are provided, so all you need to do is to walk in and dance out!

Yoga Teachers Training
These Yoga workshops are taught in compliance with the standards set forth by the Yoga Alliance®. Arielle has over 20 years of Yoga teaching experience. She helps developing yoga teachers clarify their instruction by showing how to gently guide students into correct anatomical alignment in yoga asanas, resulting in safe and enjoyable classes.
Ellen de Jonge received her Sports Instructors Degree from the Sports Academy in Amsterdam. She regularly teaches Aqua-Aerobics in addition to her popular Yoga By The Sea Power-Flow Classes.
